Join us for this collaborative event between The Ghostlight and Caracole to uplift World AIDS Day and stop the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.Synopsis: Your Neighbor is an original performance piece derived from interviews with Cincinnatians living with HIV. The characters share their stories of HIV diagnosis and how they have been affected by the misplaced shame and stigma surrounding it. Through moving performance, movement pieces, and live painting- audiences will see how their stories could be told by anyone, even Your Neighbor.
A brief post-show panel will happen immediately following the performance.
Raffles, as well as a silent auction on an original painting being created that night by James Reynolds will all be available at the event to help support this programming. All proceeds from these initiatives and ticket sales will go directly towards Caracole and The Ghostlight Stage Company, to be split evenly.
Please note - Live Audio Description, ASL Interpretation, ADA seating, Braille and Enlarged-Text programs will be available for this performance. Should you wish to utilize any of these services please let us know.
