We'll start with Laura’s story on mindset and money, using her extensive background to build as a fractional CFO to help you overcome those blockers.

About the Author
Laura Linden is a Fractional CFO, financial strategist, and founder of Feisty FD, on a mission to make finance less scary and far more useful for women and entrepreneurs. She helps business owners grow, get funding, and sell their companies without losing their minds, or their money.
Laura has spent over 20 years in finance, from corporate boardrooms to running her own freelance consultancy. She’s worked with more than 20 small businesses, uncovering hidden cash, streamlining operations, and turning financial confusion into clear, confident decision-making. Along the way, she’s learned the hard way what it’s like to be a woman in male-dominated spaces, and now she’s determined to make sure other women don’t have to put up with the nonsense she did.
Her approach is simple: no jargon, no lectures, just straight-talking strategies that help women understand their finances, build resilience, and take control of their financial future. Laura believes that knowing your numbers isn’t about maths, it’s about freedom.
When she’s not helping women level up their businesses, Laura lives in Surrey with her husband, two kids, and two rescue dogs, plotting ways to make money education fun, feisty, and empowering.
