A 3-Hour Workshop: Building Your Personal Nervous System Maintenance PlanIn this 3-hour workshop, I expand on themes introduced in The Invisible Backpack. You don’t need to have attended that workshop - this session stands completely on its own.
Together, we will explore and play with the Inner Nature cards and the role sensations play in helping us build a relationship with our bodies.
By learning to notice and understand what is happening in your nervous system, you can begin to respond to yourself with more awareness and care.
This workshop is the first step toward creating your own unique maintenance plan to support your ongoing wellbeing.
In this workshop we will:
✅ Explore The Inner Nature cards and how it supports self-understanding
✅Learn how sensations help us recognise what is happening in our bodies
✅Understand the basics of the nervous system and its responses
✅Recognise when we are in sympathetic activation (fight/flight) or dorsal vagal shutdown
✅Practice gentle ways to reconnect with the body
✅Begin identifying what helps you return to a place of greater balance
✅Start building your own personal maintenance plan
Outcomes:
By the end of this workshop you will:
✨Have a clearer understanding of your nervous system responses
✨Be more aware of the sensations in your body
✨Know some practical tools to support yourself during stress or overwhelm
