The Youngstown Summer Movie Series is back for 2026, bringing a full lineup of free, family-friendly movies to Downtown Youngstown. The series kicks off Monday, June 22 and continues weekly through August 10 on the Covelli Centre front lawn.Hosted by Aspasia Lyras, Mario Riccardi, and Hannah Ferguson, the annual outdoor movie tradition invites the community to gather under the stars for a shared summer experience filled with nostalgia, fun, and connection.
All movies begin at 9:00 PM. In the event of rain, screenings will be moved to the following evening.

June 22 – Minecraft (2025)
June 29 – Men in Black (1997)
July 6 – Superman (2025)
July 13 – Good Burger (1997)
July 20 – How to Train Your Dragon (2025, Live Action)
July 27 – Free Willy (1993)
August 3 – Frankenweenie (2012)
August 10 – Lilo & Stitch (2025, Live Action)
The series will take place on the Covelli Centre front lawn, located at 229 E. Front Street in Downtown Youngstown.
Concessions will be provided by the Youngstown Rayen Early College National Honor Society, offering guests snacks and refreshments throughout the series.
The Youngstown Summer Movie Series is made possible thanks to the generous support of community sponsors, including The City of Youngstown, Wean Park, JAC Management Group, Appleridge Productions, and Penguin City Brewing Co.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and friends to enjoy this free community event.
