OLA Youth Connect and East Hampton Library need your help creating a survival

guide for your fellow Middle Schoolers (Grades 6-8.) Earn community service

hours while sharing your Middle School wisdom and working together to create

something that will help others. Have fun brainstorming, writing, and designing,

and get your name featured as a contributor. Free pizza will be provided.


Founded in 2002, OLA of Eastern Long Island, Inc. (Organización Latino

Americana) is a nonprofit Latino-focused advocacy organization working in the

five East End towns of East Hampton, Southampton, Riverhead, Southold, and

REGISTRATION POLICY: Due to the popularity of our programs and events, those registered for the program or event MUST show up on time at the start of the program or event for guaranteed admittance. If registered persons are not present to be checked in by 5 minutes after the program or event start time, their spots will be given to the waitlist. Please note that only participating children need to be registered - accompanying adults and non-participating siblings do not need to register a spot for themselves.

WAITLIST POLICY: The waitlist for programs and events is now IN PERSON on the DAY OF THE PROGRAM OR EVENT and available once the Library opens at the Information Desk of the Children’s Room or at the entrance to the event. If spots become available at program or event time, they will be given to those on the waitlist who are present at check in, in the order listed.

UNATTENDED MINOR POLICY: Children through age ten must be accompanied by a parent or responsible caregiver who is at least fourteen years of age. Parent or caregiver will remain in the immediate vicinity and within view of the child at all times.
