Young Storytellers Camp (Rising 4th–5th Grade)A 5-Day Playwriting & Performance Experience
In this exciting and empowering week-long camp, students will discover and share their unique voices through storytelling, writing, and performance. Working one-on-one with a mentor, each camper will develop their own original short play, building skills in creativity, confidence, and self-expression along the way.
Throughout the week, students will explore character creation, dialogue, and story structure through fun, engaging activities designed to spark imagination and encourage creative risk-taking. Mentors will guide each young writer step-by-step, helping them shape their ideas into a finished script they can be proud of.
The week culminates in a special “red carpet” performance, where professional actors bring the students’ original plays to life on stage. This celebratory showcase highlights each student’s voice and vision, creating a meaningful and unforgettable experience for both campers and their families.
This camp fosters not only writing and theatre skills, but also social-emotional growth, collaboration, and a strong sense of pride as students see their stories performed in a supportive, creative community.
