About this Event
Aimed at young creatives who would like to try printmaking, this taster course offers a welcoming space for all to come together and unleash their artistic potential.
Sessions run on Tues , Wed & Thurs 1pm - 4pm. You are welcome to book alll three sessions or try just one or two.
No prior printmaking experience is required. You will create unique prints to take home and frame.
Perfect for those building a portfolio, studying art at school, starting a foundation course, or just for fun!
What will I need to bring?
All materials and equipment will be provided.
Please wear old clothes as printing can get messy. No sandals, heels or open toed shoes. Aprons will be provided.
Teas, coffees and biscuits are provided.
This course is run by Aprille McShane. Aprille has over ten years' experience in teaching and delivering visual art workshops for all ages. Her classes are aimed at beginners, and through her supportive approach she makes art accessible and inclusive for all.
Aprille specialises in relief printmaking, monoprint and monotype, often working with mark-making, cardboard and other materials to create hybrid prints. Her playful approach to printmaking is encouraged in her workshops where she champions individual creative adventures.

About Carousel Print Studio
Carousel Print Studio is a not for profit charity based on the ground floor of Exchange Place Studios in Castlegate, Sheffield. Carousel provides educational workshops in printmaking and opportunities for creatives in Sheffield, in a bright, warm, accessible and well equipped printmaking studio.
Carousel is located on the ground floor just to the left of reception. The doors are widened for ease of access and there is an accessible toilet. If you have any questions regarding access needs please do contact us at [email protected]

If the course is cancelled? In the unlikely event the course is cancelled by Carousel Print Studio, a full refund will be issued, or your booking can be transferred to another course.
