About this Event
Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea and Healthwatch Westminster, alongside Strengthening Kensington Youth Families (SKYF) are collaborating on a joint project that follows on from the Young People’s Mental Health work we carried out in 2023.
This year’s project aims to co-produce healthy, preventive measures that address the key factors contributing to poor mental health, as highlighted in our 2023 report, and to support prevention among young people aged 18-25 years.
Collaborative discussions and a Wellbeing Toolkit:
Through collaborative hybrid discussions, we will gather young people’s insights and lived experiences to identify what helps prevent mental health challenges before they reach crisis point. The findings will be used to formulate a Young People’s Preventive Wellbeing Toolkit, which will illustrate practical strategies and recommendations designed by and for young people.
Interested in taking part?
We will be hosting a hybrid focus group on Friday 13 February 2026, 5pm – 7:30pm to co-produce ideas with young people on preventing mental health crises.
