About this Event

Join our Young Naturalist Explorers to get Wild About Wetlands! On February 14 from 9:30–11:00 AM, young explorers will travel through engaging stations that bring wetlands to life. Participants will discover how wetlands work, explore muddy wetland soils, and learn about the amazing plant and animal adaptations that make these ecosystems thrive. Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, children will also learn why wetlands are so important to wildlife, clean water, and our communities—and how conservation helps protect them. Come get wild, learn together, and explore one of nature’s most incredible habitats!

When: Saturday, February 14th, 9:30AM - 11:00AM

Where: Discovery Barn at Mead Botanical Garden, 1300 S. Denning Drive Winter Park, FL 32789

What to Bring: Appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, water, and your sense of adventure!

Cost: $10.00 + eventbrite fees

**We recomend ages 5-12. Parents/Guardians are not required to purchase tickets for themselves.

Parents and guardians must remain with their participants for the duration of class.
