Young musicians concert 5
As an educational charity the Lit and Phil has a long record of supporting young people in the Arts and we are proud to continue our Young Musicians concert series. The aim is twofold, to give any young musician, of all ages, backgrounds and stages, the opportunity to perform with a professional pianist, and secondly the option for the musicians to perform longer works in front of a new audience.
Performing will be;
Chika Hase, violin
Oliver Gould, piano
Arthur Graham, trumpet
Helen Graham, flute
Daniel Johnson, cello
Tim Jeffers, trombone
Frederick Wilson, violin
The pianist Alison Gill will be accompanying the musicians and they will be performing works by Mozart, Neruda, Schumann, Chopin, Saint-Saens, Brahms, Godard, Debussy, Kreisler, Bernstein, Schulhoff and Messiaen.
We are grateful for the support from the Pudding Chare Music Festival and the generosity of Mr. C. Calver and a donor who wishes to remain anonymous to support the young musicians in their development.
