About this Event
Are you aged between 16 and 25 and do you live in London? If so, London Metropolitan University (LondonMet) in collaboration with the Mayor of London’s Civil Society & Sport team are really pleased to invite you to join an exciting event to help shape the work of the Mayor’s office on matters important to you.
This event, taking place at LondonMet’s Holloway campus on the 12th of July, will bring together over 50 young Londoners to take part in group discussions and interactive activities addressing the overarching question: “How can we improve youth voice and youth social action?”
We see you as a key changemaker in London and we want to bring you together with other young Londoners to help improve your lives and solve the problems facing your communities. You will be rewarded for your time with all those in attendance receiving a £30 voucher, plus a DJ set from Wondr Womn (https://www.instagram.com/wxndrwxmn)
Location: London Metropolitan University, 166 – 220 Holloway Road, London, N7 8DB (the event will take place in the Roding Building, room TM3-03). Please come to the Rocket Reception.
Refreshments: Lunch will be provided, plus refreshments throughout the day.
Access: The building has step-free access, accessible toilets and hearing loops fitted throughout. LondonMet has multi-faith prayer rooms.
Please email [email protected] if you require any other adjustments to participate in the event.
