About this Event
NatWest is committed to championing potential, helping people, families and businesses to thrive. We have always been supporters of Ethnic Minority businesses and communities and will continue to build strong relationships and contribute to positive change wherever we can
We’re proud of the results we’re achieving which are reflected across the bank, with examples including 22% of our Sept 2022 Accelerator cohorts being from Ethnic Minority backgrounds, developing partnerships with stakeholders such as Black Seed as well as contributing to thought leadership having supported Aston’s University’s Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship with the research and publication of the Time to Change report
The Racial Equality Taskforce Community Working Group is underpinned by NatWest’s commitments under the Banking on Racial Equality Report and one of those is upskilling our Ethnic Minority Communities especially through engagement and outreach. This event has been designed to nurture untapped talent amongst the next generation of entrepreneurs in line with our bank’s overall purpose
After attending an online workshop and one to one mentoring sessions, entrepreneurs will pitch at this event to a panel of industry expert judges for a prize package of support from NatWest
