You Deserve Rest: A Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra Workshop
Do you crave deep rest and relaxation, but have a hard time accessing this in your own time? Through restorative yoga and guided yoga nidra, this workshop will help you calm your nervous system and rest without distractions. We will begin with gentle movement, progress to a series of restorative yoga shapes, and conclude with a yoga nidra practice. All props and mats are supplied, but you are welcome to bring a layer for warmth and a special blanket if you have one that offers you comfort.
Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing, passive practice using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support the body in gentle poses held for long periods (5-20 mins), aiming to calm the nervous system, release tension, and promote healing by shifting from "fight-or-flight" to "rest-and-digest" mode.
Yoga Nidra is "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice for deep relaxation, inducing a state between waking and sleeping by systematically relaxing the body and mind while maintaining conscious awareness.

*please arrive at least 5 minutes early to set up your props and settle in
