About this Event

The 'You are the Help' program teaches the basic skills to help keep a family member, friend, colleague, or stranger alive and safe between the time an incident occurs until emergency responders/professional help arrives.

The topics covered include calling 9-1-1, staying safe when providing help, stopping the bleeding, positioning the injured, providing comfort, and workshopping scenarios to build your confidence and empower you to provide help until help arrives. This course does not teach CPR/AED and is not affiliated with the American Red Cross's 'Until Help Arrives' course.

This event is for anyone 15+ years old. You do not need to be a resident of Aurora to attend.
