About this Event
About the Book
It took Prince Kayigire thirty years to unlock memories of surviving, at age fifteen, the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsis in Rwanda. "Prince"is an intimate reflection on growing up in an environment of fear, hostility, and eventual catastrophe. Through harrowing accounts of unimaginable loss and inspiring stories of resilience, Kayigire’s memoir reveals the unyielding power of the human spirit to endure, heal, and rise above even the darkest moments in history.
