About this Event
Nestled in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a demanding yet highly rewarding circular trek. Covering more than 24 miles and over 1,500 metres of ascent, the route is traditionally completed within 12 hours. Starting from Horton-in-Ribblesdale, walkers tackle the three iconic summits of Pen-y-ghent (694m), Whernside (736m), and Ingleborough (723m).

Minimum fundraising requirement: £300
Difficulty Rating: Very Tough.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a long day out of hill walking with three climbs and some difficult terrain in places. You will be accompanied by experienced Mountain Leaders but will need to have undertaken sufficient training. (Shelter will provide you with a bespoke training guide when you sign up).
