About this Event
The aim of this event is to celebrate individuals and organisations that have been exceptional in supporting women through the life critical stage of feeding their babies when they were born. This award would help to normalise discussions around infant feeding in the society.
Infant feeding continues to be an important stage of a baby’s life and the parents. Whether the mother is breastfeeding, formula feeding or a combination of both, education and physical support is critical. Parents need education to understand the benefits, challenges and support available for all types of feeding methods. Critical stages such as pregnancy and immediately after birth, and mothers’ personal circumstances, determines how they feed their baby. Building in support for mothers at all stages would ensure that they make informed decisions.
How we feed our baby may have an impact on the mother and baby’s health, the environment, the mothers career progression and the economy. So, we are privileged to have you join us in celebrating all the nominees and the winners.
The event will feature inspiring speakers, prestigious awards, a delightful three-course meal, refreshing drinks, and networking opportunities. The evening will commence at 17:00 with drinks reception followed by guest speakers from 18:00.

Optional Donation
Thank you for your donation. It will enable us to:
- Buy breast pumps to loan to mothers who need it and cannot afford it
- Pay for two in-depth sessions on infant feeding for pregnant women. These sessions will ensure that women have a full understanding of the different methods of feeding, its benefits, challenges and where to get support
- We also intend to by a gazebo that can be used in public events which will provide a safe and comfortable environment for breastfeeding mothers. This would minimise isolation and mental health because of lack of appropriate places to breastfeed in public events.
