Grass based 'hacking' obstacle clinic at Thornton House Farm, near York (Allerthorpe).An assortment of obstacles representing things you might find out hacking will be set out on the grass area near the car park and we will look at each one in turn, before completing a 'hack' linking each obstacle together.
Perfect to build your relationship with your horse and reduce spookiness in real life situations - we'll practice obstacles like bridges, horse stiles, construction work, low hanging branches and overgrown bridleways... as well as using the terrain to practice balance and proprioception on hills and undulating ground.
Priced at £35 per combination for a 90 minute session in a group of up to four people. The clinic can be completed ridden or in hand (or a mix of both!) and is suitable for all ages of horse and rider.
