York Game Makers Guild - Second Gathering
We had an wonderful response and turnout to our first gathering back in February, so we thought we ought to do it again!
📣 The second gathering of the York Game Makers Guild 📣
To the wonderful folks in and around York who have been wanting a laid back meetup to hang out, discuss industry topics, or brainstorm ideas, we are running our next meetup of the York Game Makers Guild.
This is a free, relaxed space aimed at people who maybe do not always feel like they belong at traditional networking events. You can come to do some work, chat with other creatives, share an idea, or just spend time in a room with people who get it. If you are curious about making games and work in an adjacent field, you are also very welcome.
A few important details:
• Open to everyone, from professionals to hobbyists and those simply curious about making games.
• No pressure to drink. We are meeting at Divine Coffee, which has great coffee, soft drinks as well as a new selection of alcohol.
• Only two hours. We will be running from 7pm to 9pm so you don't have to strain your social battery.
The plan is to keep things very casual between 7 and 8, with space to chat and settle in. Around 8pm, we will offer a chance for anyone who wants to present an idea, a project, or something they are working on. If that does not happen, that is completely fine too!
