Yoni Art: Digital Life Casting and Handmade Pottery Workshop (21+)

Yonic imagery is a powerful representation of feminine energy and the female experience. In this unique, two part workshop, we will explore this topic by working on projects made by hand and through digital technology.
Students will sculpt their own one of a kind ceramic yoni pots from stoneware clay. This process helps us explore the form and admire the beauty and variety of the female form. Attendees will also have the chance to capture a three dimensional portrait of their own body and have that portrait reproduced in a pair of custom made earrings!
Custom Yoni Earrings Made with Digital 3D Scanning & Casting ( In-person scan and artist demo)

Celebrate the unique beauty of your own body by having your yoni scanned with 3D digital imagery. Using 3D modeling technology and precious metal clay, our metal artist will transform your cast into three dimensional earrings in copper.
The Scanning Process

Scanning will take place in our studio, behind a privacy screen. The subject disrobes from the waist down and reclines to allow for the artist to use a scanner (a camera-like device with specialized software) to capture a 3D image of the subject's vulva. This takes just a few minutes and does not require the artist to touch the subject.
Handmade Yoni Pots with Slumped Glass (Hands-on)

Students will form stoneware pinch pots, then sculpt vulva forms into their centers. Finally, the pieces will be adorned with glass, which will melt into the pots as they are fired, creating a gorgeous crystalline effect. No prior ceramics experience is required. This project is surprisingly easy and beginner-friendly.

Finished Project Pickup
Pottery pieces and finished earrings will be ready for pickup from our studio in about 4-5 weeks.
