Welcome to the 5th edition of the YONEX Luxembourg Open 2026! 🏸From April 30 to May 3, 2026, the international badminton tournament returns to the Coque in Luxembourg City.
The tournament is part of the Badminton Europe Circuit as an International Series event sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation, attracting talented players from across Europe and around the world competing for ranking points and prize money.
Top players who have participated in previous editions of the YONEX Luxembourg Open include:
- Alex Lanier – 2024 Men’s Singles champion from France, winner of the 2025 European Championships, now ranked #8 in the world
- Marvin Seidel & Thuc Phuong Nguyen – last year’s Mixed Doubles champions, currently ranked #30 in the world
- Hina Akechi – 2023 & 2024 Women’s Singles champion from Japan, a rising star in international badminton
Over four days, fans can enjoy high-level badminton, exciting matches, and a great atmosphere in the heart of Luxembourg. Around 300 players are expected to compete, making this event one of the highlights of the badminton calendar in Luxembourg.
