This year’s commemoration invites us to reflect on the power of a single moral choice. Through music, testimony, prayer, and remembrance, we will explore how one righteous act, one courageous voice, can ripple through history. The evening will include:
• Reflections on the legacy of Raoul Wallenberg
• Live survivor testimony
• A moving candle-lighting ceremony honoring multiple victim groups
• Participation from students across generations
• Sacred music and liturgy offered in partnership with Temple Sinai
• A special musical tribute by the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida
As Elie Wiesel taught, “When you listen to a witness, you become a witness.” We gather not only to remember but to carry memory forward with responsibility and hope.
Following the program, guests are invited to remain for cookies and conversation with survivors, descendants, and community partners. All are welcome to join us in honoring the past and strengthening our commitment to justice, dignity, and peace.
