Yoko Okamoto holds the rank of 7th Dan in Aikido Aikikai, with the status of Shihan. She runs a dojo together with her husband in Kyoto, Japan, and is one of the most respected Sensei in Aikido and is acknowledged as an expert teacher all over the world.
