You can expect creative movement that will help to loosen, twist, and move energy out of your body that can creep in throughout our days.For our yoga session, you can expect creative movement that will help to loosen, twist, and move energy out of your body that can creep in as we sit or stand in one shape for most of our day. We'll take time to move breath to movement and also slow it down by holding some shapes for a bit longer. We'll seal in everything with savasana (resting pose) at the very end. You'll leave feeling rested but also rejuvenated. Options are always available and if you want to sit and breathe with us instead, that works perfectly too.
For our meditation session, expect to use this time to focus on your breath. Paying attention to each inhale and each exhale that your body takes. Meditation allows you to slow down, connect to your body, and practice non reactivity to the thoughts and feelings that come through. Accessible for everyone, all you need is your breath!
About Cass:
As a dancer my entire life, my passion for movement started early on. After I finished dancing in college, I felt lost and wasn’t sure what to do next. When I found yoga and barre classes I instantly fell in love. Everything grew from there. Movement became more of a release and a way to feel good; not just physically, but spiritually and mentally as well. I loved how movement made me feel so much that I decided to get certified to teach! My goal is for everyone I work with to find that same joy and some type of movement that ignites their spirit. When I'm not moving you can find me lounging with my cats, drinking coffee, hiking, or hanging by the lake.
