
About this Event
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early if possible so you can set your mat up and understand what's happening versus rushing in late. No one will be permitted to join the class if 10 minutes has already elapsed (because you could get injured w/o the warm up!).
Parking is free! Bring your own mat (we'll have a few to lend out if you forget it), bring a water bottle, and a towel if you sweat easily.
This class is beginner-friendly and can be a great workout/yoga practice for people who are intermediate or advanced at yoga. The intention is to get into your physical body, breathe, practice being kind and courage with yourself in challenging poses, and get nice and stretched out after all the standing poses.
Power vinyasa = sometimes holding poses (that's the "power" part), sometimes moving one-breath-per-pose through a Sun Salutation (that's the "vinyasa" part). All of which will be taught in an easy-to-understand way.
To beginners: Yoga is a lot like learning to ride a bike. You just get on and start trying. At first it's awkward, but then you'll progress in skill until you're doing backflips off a BMX bike ramp (jk but you know what we mean).
