Yoga to help you rest & relax: a 4 week course

This course is part workshop part class. You will learn about the science of resting and relaxing as well as experiencing it.
Using techniques and practices from yoga and its sister schools, each week will explore a new method of resetting your nervous system. Using a mix of gentle movement, restorative postures, breathing practices and meditation to give your body and mind a chance to practise resting and relaxing. Each session will end with a yoga nidra practice - a guided deep relaxation that will be recorded and sent to you to keep.
‘Most’ folk are welcome including those new to yoga, pregnant women and for new mums from 7 weeks postpartum. This is an ideal to practice to balance a busy lifestyle, to promote healthy sleep and to support you in recovering from (or preventing) burn out.

Investment: £45 for the 4 weeks
Community rate: £30 for NHS / social care / education staff
Practical stuff:
- Please bring your own mat, a blanket and pillow / cushion
- Wear warm, comfy clothes
- Please do not attend your class if you have Covid symptoms or are generally unwell.
- Sessions run 7.45pm-9pm on Wednesdays 3/10/17/24 November upstairs at The Langton Pub.
