We can stay TETHERed to unhelpful, unkind self-talk. The kind that is self-destructive, unhelpful and untrue.
Today, we will journal and move through an unTETHERing of these thoughts to ROOT into something that is kinder, softer. A constructive narrative to anchor into.
To support us in this, our guest, Wild Willy’s plant & florist shop, will guide us in a creation of spring bulbs in a vessel to take home, nourish it and watch it bloom.
The Food: Nourishing and Inviting for these Cold Winter Days
The Day: In community with others: welcoming breakfast bites, reflective group discussions, yoga class* for all levels, nourishing lunch and journaling experience
The Ending: We end the day, as always, with a signature bevvie or cocktail / mocktail
Your Day includes:
One Specialty Hot Beverage from the Coffee + Tea Bar
Lunch: Special selection of local Artizen Kombucha
All day: Americano (decaf or high-test) and/or Pluck tea options
Take home vessel of spring bulbs
Closing: Your choice of our Special drink offering, with or without alcohol.

About your Guides:
Meet Janice: Janice Tokaryk has been actively involved in the Ottawa yoga community for over 20 years.
Her passion came at a very young age, always wanting to travel to India and study yoga.
Throughout her career, Janice has travelled the world teaching movement, fitness and yoga. Her expertise brought her back to Ottawa to conduct Teacher Trainings and workshops over the years.
Janice has been accepted into and completed five Teacher Trainings courses from the renowned Richard Freeman. These trainings have had an enormous influence and inspiration on her for which she is truly grateful. Janice also was able to study with Pattabi Jois when he visited North America. She holds a special place for meditation, and has studied at the Shambala Center in Boulder Colorado and continues these studies in Ottawa.
She teaches from the heart to make all feel comfortable and inspired to follow their own path.
Janice continues to teach, grow, study, meditate and hold space for all who want to share and learn from this beautiful practice.

Meet Chris:
As a Social Worker (MSW), Chris has a passion for coaching from an empowerment approach, believing you already have the internal gifts, skills and power within you to create positive change. She believes that our mental health means that we incorporate movement, mindfulness, and community into our overall self-care and personal growth development. Her Mind Rebel coaching certification brings eye-opening awareness to how we can show up as our most authentic selves.
Chris has a passion for social justice and has worked for over 20 years in community mental health, working with diverse communities including lgbtq+ (all ages) and people with varied abilities.
Chris holds an MSW from Carleton University and a B.A (Hons) from McMaster University (Gerontology/Religious Studies). She is a Registered Social Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She loves to learn and unlearn.
