In our busy lives, especially at this time of year, the connection between mind and body can often feel fragmented. This theme is about cultivating a deeper awareness through mindful movement, linking every breath to every action. We'll explore practices that quiet the mental chatter and bring you fully into the present moment. Expect a restorative experience that nurtures your nervous system, allowing you to find profound inner peace and a sense of calm that extends far beyond your mat.
As your guide, Emma Garland AKA The Good Food Yogi, puts it:
βThis workshop session is suitable for everyone, including beginners; with guided instructions and techniques to help you switch on some of those smaller, underused muscles within the body and start to ease some of the muscular pain you may experience, particularly around those tighter areas of the body, like neck and shoulders, back, hamstrings, hips and belly.
We will work with the breath and provide a deeper feeling of engagement and resistance within your body to build heat and strength in the body without necessarily moving fast.
Time spent outdoors in nature can be a great way to boost the mind and body, as well as the nervous and immune system. Experiencing natural sunlight can also boost your mood and productivity!
Join us for a day away in the magical space that is The Walled Garden School, surrounded by nature in ancient woodland, this space will take you a world away from it all.β
