And sometimes… it’s playful.
Yoga Playtime is a 3 hour extended Vinyasa Masterclass where we move, experiment and explore in a light hearted way. Expect creative sequencing, interesting transitions, arm balances, inversions and time to play with shapes like handstand in a supportive space.
You know we don’t believe you need complicated poses to “be good at yoga”. You don’t need to stand on your hands to be advanced. But that doesn’t mean we can’t explore them and have fun!
There is something incredibly empowering about doing something you once thought was impossible. I still remember the first time I managed a pose I had written off as not for me. It quietly changed something. When the impossible becomes possible, even in a small way, it opens up your world. It makes you question the limits you’ve placed on yourself. It reminds you that maybe you’re capable of more than you thought.
That’s what this workshop is about.
Trying new pathways in and out of poses. Building strength in creative ways. Falling out of things. Laughing. Trying again. Discovering that your body might surprise you.
With three hours together, we have space to properly warm up, break things down clearly, layer progressions and offer options so you can work at your own edge. There will be time to workshop skills, ask questions, take breaks, rest when needed and repeat transitions until they start to click.
Some yoga experience is required. You don’t need to be able to handstand, but you should feel reasonably comfortable holding a pose such as Downward Facing Dog.
