Experience the magic and mystery of non-sleep deep rest through Yoga Nidra, Sanskrit for “yogic sleep,” with Lexi Milam. Join us one Friday a month for 75 minutes devoted to rest. 🤍✨To help you rest more comfortably, we begin with gentle stretches and restorative yoga and then ease into a supported savasana (lying down) to experience Yoga Nidra.
Drift into "peace beyond words" as Lexi guides you through diaphragmatic breathing, progressive relaxation techniques, guided meditation, pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), and a journaling exercise to enhance your relationship to rest.
You may experience deeper, more restful nighttime sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, plus awakened clarity after practicing Yoga Nidra. Blankets, eye pillows, bolster pillows, blocks, paper, and pens are provided.
