My registration for this event confirms that I understand that yoga involves physical movement and exercise, which may cause physical strain or injury. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to participating in this event, and to let the instructor know of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations before class begins.

I understand that:

• Yoga is not a substitute for medical care.
• I am responsible for monitoring my own body and practice, and I will not push beyond my personal limits.
• Participation in this event is voluntary, and I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this yoga event, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily:

• Release and waive any and all claims against Jemelia Bowie / Yogi Jem, the venue and any affiliates, for injury, damages, or loss that I may sustain as a result of participation.
• Agree to hold harmless and indemnify the above parties from any claims, demands, or causes of action.
• Grant permission for photographs and/or video taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes, unless I notify the organizer in writing otherwise.

My registration for this event confirms that I fully understand this waiver and release of liability and I voluntarily agree to the terms.
