Join Valerie Arias, RYT200, for this two-part series designed just for swimmers, cyclists, and runners! This series is intended to help you perform better overall when training and/or competing in triathlons, sports, and daily exercise. Saturday, May 4 will feature a 90-minute “Yang” Style Yoga practice with more vigorous, fast-paced standing and seated postures, working on strength, endurance, and balance. The practice will help you connect your breath with your body as we flow through the postures. Stay for an optional 2-mile run after the practice (please bring running shoes).
Saturday, May 11 will feature a 90-minute “Yin” Style Yoga with slow paced, long-held, passive seated postures targeting the lower body –hips, pelvis, thighs, and lower spine while help you to connect your breath with your body as we relax and rejuvenate. Stay for an optional 5-mile bike ride after the practice (please bring your bike and helmet).
