A yoga/fitness type class targeting preventative bone health and functional fitness. This class is designed to strengthen bones, improve posture and reduce the risk of fractures using movement with mindful training to support skeletal health in a safe, effective way. Key components are: Weight-bearing movements, strength training, balance, coordination movements and flexibility. Sneakers preferred. Props used: Chair, blocks, light weights and straps. We have an assortment of hand weights, but you are welcome to bring your own.
