Yoga for Chronic Pain.
One of the hardest things about living with chronic pain is finding activities you can enjoy on a regular basis. There is no magic pose or pill that will eliminate pain forever. This workshop connects the mind and body, and can help people living with chronic pain by improving flexibility, building strength and helping cope with chronic pain.
It includes gentle movement, dynamic stretches, focus on breathing and guided meditation to help you feel more comfortable in your mind and body to ease the stress, anxiety, and depression that can reinforce pain.
This will support your healing, increase your quality of life, and empower how you show up everyday with kindness, grace and love for your abilities.
Workshop will cover:
- Listen to your body - difference between discomfort and pain in your body.
- Restorative yoga practice
- Pranayama (Breath practices)
- Focused relaxation
- Body Scan Meditation
There are 12 spots available. This event is intentionally kept small and private so you can receive the individual attention in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
COVID Protocols : Social distancing practice of “six-feet” will be adhered to. Room will be set up with designated spaces six feet from each other.
Masks mandatory before entering the studio, while inside the studio walking to practice set up and anytime not at mat. If you do not have a mask one will provided to you. Participants will be six feet from each other. Vaccinated folks will have option to remove mask during practice only. Not vaccinated mask required at all times.
