This ritual practice offers space for Black femmes to explore self-love during the month of February, traditionally a time for centering Black History and romantic love. Through movement and expression, energetic we'll examine our relationships to love, self-love and romance. Where can we expand our definitions of these experiences, to deepen the relationship we are having with ourselves?
Our ritual, self-expression exercises and journaling will be center on heart opening and gratitude. Movement will center on backbends to open the energetic heart prior to a long restorative holds before savasana.
What to Bring:
- A journal and pen for reflection exercises.
- Mats and props will be provided to support your practice and rest, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
