Did you know that yoga can do wonders for your spine? Regular yoga practice helps to strengthen back muscles, improve flexibility, and encourage better posture, all of which are crucial for a healthy spine.By gently stretching and aligning the body, yoga can ease tension, reduce discomfort, and support your back through daily life.
In this beginners’ Hatha yoga class, we will be combining a series of multi-directional spinal bends including Standing Forward Bend Pose or Uttanasana that stretches the back body, Cobra Pose or Bhujangasana, a back bend that strengthens the spine and opens the chest, and Gate Pose or Parighasana, a side bend that improves lateral flexibility, creating a supple and resilient spine.
So, come and join us, roll out your mat and give your spine the care that it deserves!
All classes are for beginners and take place at Crescent Yoga Studio at St Anne’s Tennis Club FY8 2QH. The yoga studio is fully equipped so you don’t need to bring anything with you, unless you prefer to use your own mat and blanket etc.
-Tuesday 90-minute classes 7:00-8:30pm cost £10
-Thursday 60-minute classes 7:15-8:15pm cost £8
-Special Event Saturday classes 10:00-11:30am or 10:00-12:00noon cost £25
