Nature is WaitingThere’s something about practicing yoga a few steps from wildlife that a studio can never replicate. Summer Yoga at the Zoo pairs 60-minute, all-levels classes with locations across the Detroit Zoo, each class taking place at a unique animal habitat. Every session includes a zookeeper chat explaining the animals you’re practicing near.

• A class near the lion habitat, where three young cubs have been settling in
• Tuesday evening sessions from 6-7 p.m. for the post-work yogis
