19:00-21:00 Yoga & Psychology: The Somatic Body

21:00-21:30 Wind down: Community connection and conversation over light refreshments and tea

This immersive and experiential event combines the powers of yoga and psychology for holistic healing.

To honour May Day’s arrival of Summer, we will journey through our somatic body, fine tuning our awareness to our inner nature, as we simultaneously celebrate the power and energy of what we embody within.

Steph will share with you insightful conversation about the integration of yoga and psychology, guiding you in a reflective writing exercise to unpack personal processing and deep insights. Steph will then lead you through an embodied practice of yoga therapy, beginning with breathwork to regulate the nervous system, mindful movements flowing from yogic asanas to deep restorative stillness and meditation to enhance mind-body connection.

What you need....

Please arrive promptly and wear comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement and cosy rest. Warm layers, eye masks, blankets if you want!

Bring your own yoga mat, but if you don't have one, don't fret! We have a limited number to hand out.

Do bring a notebook and pen for the workshop!
Consider a light snack at least 1 hour before the session begins.
