About this Event
Experience a day of tranquility and rejuvenation at Whitestown House. This one-day retreat offers a unique and authentic escape from the demands of daily life. Nestled in the Dublin countryside, our family home provides the perfect setting for a day dedicated to yoga, mindfulness, and holistic relaxation. This retreat is suitable for all levels and ages and is designed to help you unwind and reconnect with nature and yourself. We will be doing yoga outdoors in the wonderful surroundings of Whitestown House, if it is raining we will enjoy our practice in the drawing rooms instead.
The retreat will be led by Amanda English, a yoga and mindfulness instructor with 20 years experience in guiding her students towards greater well-being and balance. Amanda is a supportive and positive guide who will lead you through a journey of self-discovery and relaxation. Learn grounding postures, breathing techniques to calm the body and mind, and intention setting tools to benefit you beyond the day itself.
Schedule:
10:00: Welcome and light breakfast, followed by introductions, and meeting each other.
10:30: Practice grounding and breathwork with your feet in the grass/on the ground, and set personal intentions.
11:00: Yoga in nature, Amanda will guide you through invigorating Hatha yoga to awaken your body and mind and restorative Raja yoga to help you relax and release tension. This will be followed by relaxation and meditation.
12:15 : We will all gather together around the long table in the dining room to enjoy a delicious two-course lunch created with organic, local, and seasonal ingredients accompanied by a bespoke non-alcoholic drink specially created by Majken Bech-Bailey.
1:30: Bring your intentions to life by creating vision boards and sharing them with the group to harness the power of the law of attraction.
4:00 PM: Final meditation and farewell, to send you off relaxed, rejuvenated, and empowered.

- Yoga mat
- Comfortable warm clothing suitable for outdoor yoga and relaxation
- Flip flops/shoes that slip off easily
- A reusable water bottle
- Any personal items you need for a day of relaxation
