Join us for our May session of Yoga and Sound, where you will practice yoga amongst art for a unique and relaxing experience with instructor Christene Joy. This session includes a Gentle Flow or Strength Flow session and a sound healing experience and is held once a month on Saturday.
Gentle Flow offers a mindfully paced practice with gentle body movement, breathwork, and meditation, encouraging you to slow down and tune into your body.
Strength Flow combines Yoga, strength training, and cardio to boost metabolism, build strength, and increase flexibility, while weaving in breathwork and meditation to prioritize the mind-body connection.
Yoga and Sound is our monthly Yoga flow – Gentle Flow or Strength Flow – that includes a sound healing experience to prioritize the mind-body-heart-spirit connection.

About the instructor:
Hello, there! My name is Christene Joy Manglal-lan Gonzales and I am incredibly honored to be part of your Cura experience. I am the CEO (Courageous Equanimous Officer) of Lead with JOY, LLC who guides busy Multifaceted and Ambitious Care Leaders in connecting to their JOY and inner compass. Together, we disrupt self-abandonment patterns and liberate the Self. I express this gift by holding compassionate space for individuals and groups as a Trauma-Informed Leadership Coach and Holistic Yoga Instructor. Practicing Yoga was the first thing that gave me a whole body cathartic release back in 2015 - by moving my body and focusing on myself, I cracked open. Now, through Trauma-Informed Coaching, Culturally-Aware Intergenerational Care, and Holistic Yoga, I get to hold safe and deep space for my fellow busy, yet empathetic human siblings to do the same - to nourish their bodies, empower the mind, liberate the heart, and to embrace wholeness with their spirit. Some of you may know me as the resident Yoga Instructor for our local Fitness19 gym since 2021 and a Yoga Instructor for the Morgan Hill Yoga Collective as of May 2024. Centering on Yoga, I also had the honor of guiding the Bay Area Panthers Indoor Football Team 2023 League Champs, supported James Lick High School students, most recently partnered with San Jose State University’s Wellness Center, and have collaborated with many more local Bay Area businesses and organizations. To me, JOY simply means to Just Own Yourself and I look forward to connecting YOU to your JOY soon!
