About this Event
Join us for a transformative event centred around the theme of Self & Collective Care.
This gathering combines the healing practices of yoga and sound, inviting you to explore the deep connection between self-care and collective well-being. We believe that true liberation and freedom come from nurturing both ourselves and our communities, and that this starts from within.
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to prioritise productivity over well-being, neglecting our own needs and, in turn, the needs of others. This event aims to provide tools to help release tension, reduce stress, and cultivate balance. We will explore what it means to live in harmony with ourselves, others, and our environment, recognising when we are pushing past our limits and learning to replenish our energy. So that in turn, we are better equipped to support and help others.
What to expect:
- Yoga Practice: A guided session focusing on ahimsa, the principle of non-harm and non-violence. More than just physical movement, this practice will encourage you to reflect on how you treat yourself and others.
- Sound Healing: Immerse yourself in a soothing sound bath designed to release deep-seated tension and create a sense of inner calm. Allow the vibrations to help you reconnect with your inner self, creating space for healing and restoration.
- Mindfulness & Meditation: Cultivate awareness, presence, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself and the world. Reflecting on how our thoughts and intentions can become forces for positive change, contributing to the freedom and happiness of others.
Giving back: 15% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) to support their urgent humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
Tickets are offered on a sliding scale from £20 to £30. If you can and wish to contribute more, please consider donating directly to MAP at https://www.map.org.uk/. If you are experiencing financial hardship or special circumstances, please contact the organiser directly for concession ticket options.
Mats, props, and refreshments will be provided.
We hope that you'll join us for an impactful event to embody the yogic principles of compassion and unity, so that we can act as forces for positive change.
