Presenting The 2026 YIP Initiative Forum - Resisting Inaction, Resilience In ActionAs technology and artificial intelligence increasingly enters into our lives, we see a crisis of the human will. Despite seeing the global challenges that are calling for our participation, we feel there is a tendency towards apathy and overwhelm. How can we resist this inaction, and grow in our resilience to respond to the challenges, both as an individual and as a collective? How can we consciously cultivate human wisdom in this increasingly artificial age and meet these changes with awareness?

Introducing our wonderful keynote speakers:
Elias Diaz - Elias grew up in the Philippines, and holds a deep concern about the well-being of humanity’s future.
Elias is currently working for ESSA (Ecosystem of Stakeholders for Sustainable Agriculture) as a workshop facilitator and as a Youth Leader. His main area of knowledge and interest is in Philosophy, particularly the field of Epistemology, but he is also well acquainted with fields such as Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy of Science, and Philosophy of Technology.
Coming from a political clan on one side of the family, and a history social activism on the other side, the central undertaking of Elias’ work is social transformation that meets the deeply rooted problems of Philippine Society in all its complexity and inter-connectedness. He is currently working with 5 communities in different regions of the Philippines. He is practicing regenerative farming, teaching some High-School classes, working with Local Government Units and facilitating workshops.
Kait Ziegler - Kait is so grateful to participate in activism, art, and community organizing in this beautiful and challenging world. She is co-founder of Moral Mondays LA, a co-created effort to bridge mindfulness and activism, and to connect individuals’ passions/capacities to direct action/community work that will create a kinder, sustainable future that we (& future gens) can live in. She’s helping move forward the work of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, and serves as one of the co-chairs for California. The Poor People’s Campaign is a national fusion coalition in 40 states and Washington D.C., which is mobilizing poor and impacted, working people across all lines of division to topple the pillars of racism, poverty, ecological devastation and the war economy. She lives in a conscious community, called Elderberries 3Fold & Have Seeds House, with her partner, and really just wants to figure out how we can all be more human with each other to build Beloved Community.
