Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga in which we will hold postures for extended periods, typically ranging from three to five minutes. Yin Yoga encourages deep relaxation, enhances flexibility, and promotes mindfulness. It is particularly beneficial for calming the mind, reducing stress, and improving joint health. My yin classes are suitable for all levels and we will use props (blankets, blocks, bolsters) where necessary to increase the sense of surrender to each pose.
