About this Event
Yin Yoga & Sound Healing
Take an evening to slow down and reconnect. This session weaves together the meditative stillness of yin yoga with the restorative vibrations of sound healing — an immersive experience that invites both body and mind to unwind.
Through long-held yin postures, you’ll be guided to soften rather than strive, creating gentle openings and space for deeper release. The live sound journey adds another layer — resonant frequencies that ripple through the body, calming the nervous system and encouraging inner stillness.
Emma offers a trauma-informed yin practice grounded in compassion and self-awareness, drawing on her own personal growth and understanding of what it means to truly rest. Paired with Alex's soundscapes, the evening becomes a tender exploration of presence and renewal.
We’ll close with a nourishing plant-based dinner and dessert — a simple way to share warmth, grounding, and connection after the practice.
All levels are welcome.

Meet Alex, your sound healer
Alex is a sound healing practitioner devoted to nurturing healing in both mind and body. She believes that sound vibration holds the power to expand consciousness and restore harmony and balance in our lives. Her journey into sound healing began with the realization of how deeply sound vibration was affecting her psyche—making her more mindful of the music she listens to and the intention it carries. Along the way, she has drawn inspiration from artists such as Deva Premal, The Flying Mystics, Stevin McNamara, and the Bhakti Lounge Kirtan. Their music has profoundly influenced her own sound healing practice, inspiring her to explore sound as a tool for transformation, connection, and inner peace.
