Yin Yoga is a slow and grounding practice designed to invite stillness into both body and mind. In this class we move away from effort and into ease, holding postures for longer periods of time to gently target the deeper connective tissues of the body.
Rather than building heat or intensity, Yin creates space physically, mentally, and energetically. You will be guided into supported shapes where you are encouraged to soften, breathe, and simply be with what arises. This practice offers time to slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself beneath the noise of daily life.
Each class is an invitation to pause, to listen inward, and to let gravity do the work. All levels are welcome, and props are used generously to support comfort and accessibility throughout.
About your guide, Jen:
Yoga was always something I had always felt a pull to try, but was nervous about it. In 2019 I was given a gift card to a yoga studio. I tried it out and instantly loved it! I was getting a workout from just me on my mat. I decided a few years later to look into a yoga teacher training. I graduated in May 2023 with my 200-hour RYT certification. I have already taken additional trainings and am certified in Qigong Infused Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Reiki.
I always wanted to help people and I feel that I have found that with yoga. I teach from my heart and enjoy sharing yoga with others.
