This 20-hour Yin–Restorative Yoga Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers who want to deepen their understanding of still, contemplative practice and expand their skillset for teaching accessible, intelligent, and therapeutically informed classes. This training offers a rich blend of philosophy, anatomy, energetics, and practical application.
- You’ll study the 26 key Yin Yoga postures, their variations, and how to skillfully adapt each shape for different bodies using thoughtful prop support.
- Through exploration of myofascial meridian theory, functional anatomy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how Yin and Restorative practices affect the body’s tissues, energy pathways, and nervous system.
- This training also explores the history and traditional philosophy of Yin Yoga, offering context for the practice while emphasizing how to teach it in a way that is grounded, inclusive, and relevant to contemporary students. A strong focus is placed on sequencing, language, and holding space, so you can lead with knowledge and confidence.
Whether you’re new to teaching Yin or ready to refine your approach, this training supports you in teaching from clarity, depth, and embodied experience.
