Dr Yulia Furlong
Dr Yulia Furlong is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Perth Children’s Hospital and serves as the Head of Service for both the Paediatric Consultation Liaison and Gender Diversity Service. She holds the position of Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia and chairs the WA Psychotropic Medic*tion Expert Group. Dr Furlong is an integral part of the Perth Children’s Hospital Clinical Staff Association Executive Committee, the Drug and Therapeutic Committee, and the Child and Adolescent Health Service Shape our Future Steering Team. Her expertise is recognised internationally, being a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK, and locally, as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and an accredited member of the WA Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Joanna White
Joanna White, a Senior Clinical Psychologist, researcher, and educator at Perth Children’s Hospital, is at the forefront of integrating movement and nature into therapeutic practices for mental health. Her innovative research into 'movement as medicine' offers promising strategies for treating adolescent mental health issues. Her upcoming presentations will address the latest advancements for healthcare professionals regarding 'movement as medicine' strategies for adolescent mental health.
Dr Raghu Dharmapuri
Dr Raghu Dharmapuri is a highly experienced Paediatrician, holding an FRACP qualification from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), Australia. With over a decade of service in Perth, WA, Dr Dharmapuri has excelled as a Consultant Paediatrician in General Paediatrics within the hospital setting, as well as in Developmental Paediatrics at the Community Child Development Centre. In addition to his clinical roles, Dr Dharmapuri is appointed as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where he contributes to the education and training of the next generation of medical professionals.
