JAN FOUNTAINE
Jan Fountaine is the Nurse Practitioner for the WA Eating Disorders Outreach & Consultation Service (WAEDOCS) with a nursing career spanning 42 years in General Medicine and Mental Health settings within the UK and Australia. Additionally, she has a proven academic career as an Adjunct Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Notre Dame Australia, designing and delivering theoretical and clinical components of post graduate courses in eating disorders and partnering with researchers at the cutting edge of their field.
In 2016 was instrumental in establishing the WAEDOCS service that educates, supports andempowers health care providers in the management of people with eating disorders and continues to lead the way in developing local health care reforms. She is an excellent cultural change agent, acting as an ambassador for transformation and creating hope for individuals affected by this mental illness including her contribution to research and publishing.
SARAH LUKEIS
As a Health Psychologist, Sarah Lukeis has extensive experience in health coaching, working with adults, children, and adolescents. She brings a wealth of knowledge from clinical, research, and service implementation settings, including the development and coordination of evidence-based resources and programs designed to support health behavior change. Sarah has been heavily involved in the development and delivery of all Better Health Company services and coaching for over 10 years. She also has a robust background in delivering training to a diverse range of health professionals, enhancing their skills and knowledge to better support their own clients. Her expertise in training spans various disciplines within the health sector, ensuring that professionals from different fields are equipped with the latest evidence-based practices to optimise patient care and outcomes.
ISABELLA FEDELE
Isabella Fedele is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Head of Health Innovation at Better Health Company. She leads the development, research, and evaluation of national-scale healthy lifestyle programs that support families, young people, and adults. Isabella pioneers evidence-based healthcare solutions, ensuring products and services are aligned with government health guidelines and current research. With extensive experience collaborating with government departments and organisations on high-profile projects, Isabella integrates innovative health strategies into user-centred services. Her experience also includes designing and facilitating professional education and training, ensuring that multidisciplinary teams are equipped with up-to-date, evidence-based practices to drive better patient outcomes.
