The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us on the first Saturday in June for the Yellow Brick Road 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run!
This family friendly event has grown to be one of the most popular events of its kind in the Lake Country area attracting hundreds of participants of all ages each year.
Why do we hold a race with a Wizard of Oz theme? It is because the world premier of the Wizard of Oz was held at Oconomowoc’s Strand Theater on August 12, 1939! Check out this article from 2015. It is always fun to see people “dress for the occasion” and make the race even more fun.

The Kids' Fun Run is free when a parent is registered for the 5K or 2-mile walk. We can’t wait to cheer on your little runners. Your child will receive a free finisher medal, courtesy of our Yellow Brick Road Kids' Fun Run Sponsor.
