Welcome to the Yellow Belly Back Yard Ultra
A beautifully brutal "last person standing" challenge in the Lincolnshire Wolds, area of outstanding natural beauty.
Competitors will set off on the hour every hour to complete the 4.167 mile loop (yard)
They must complete the yard within the hour to enter the next hour. All competitors will DNF until the last person to independently finish a loop is crowned the course champion.
You must be the last person standing to win this event. All other competitors will DNF!
The Bell will be sounded exactly on the hour and if you have failed to make the starting pen before the bell rings, then you will be disqualified from the event and will become one of the many DNF’s!
There will be only 1 athlete who does not receive a DNF and they will be crowned the champion on completion of the last lap!
All competitors will receive a Yellow Belly Goodie Bag, along with a fantastic personalised Yellow Belly DNF medal.

Course:
The course is through undulating arable farmland and trails and will be fully marked. Situated in the area of Whyam, a deserted medieval village in the Lincolnshire wolds documented in the Domesday book of 1066.
It's 100% off-road and capable of going for many, many laps.
Fascilities.
Parking and Camping Facilities available at the start/finish. There is also space for campervans which must be pre-arranged.
You will be able to set up camp for you and your support crew for the duration of the event.
Toilets are available onsite.
Check point
There will be one check point at the start/finish area.
From the race start it will have hot and cold water for crews and some basic sweet and savoury snacks for runners, but please bring your own special nutrition to fuel you through the event. We will provide the essentials. However, it is always best to use what you have trained with.

​​You must wear appropriate clothing for the weather and the duration of the event.
Suitable trail running footwear
Head torch
Spare batteries
Waterproof jacket
Insulated layer
Hat, gloves, buff.
